Those of you who follow us on will already know, weâve moved! After years of searching and months spent in temporary offices on Wellington Street, our new home was finally ready to move into â and boy was it worth the wait!
The new and improved Turn Key HQ is situated in the heart of Holbeck, at the Victoria Foundry â itâs just a stoneâs throw away from some of Yorkshireâs funkiest and most successful companies and the Round Foundry Media Centre , home to a few of our favourite media contacts.
Now letâs move onto the interior â when our MD, Nik, first chose the office, it was a blank canvas – a vast space characterised by large wooden beams and exposed brick walls, it had potential but needed the Turn Key twist. Nik began the long and effortful process of transforming the top floor space and he rallied the troops. This included working with one of our clients – principal contractor, Sanderson .
The company installed a giant mezzanine floor above the office space whilst premium bespoke joiners, Crafted & Co (who we also work for!), created an impressive long bench to install in the new floor. This is now known as our studio, or as many of us have started referring to it as, the âboysâ bedroomâ.
The rest of us, PR, digital, marketing and business ops, all live downstairs. Like any good home, we have a lounge, A.K.A the âBreakout Areaâ, complete with beanbags, sofas and (thanks to Nikâs lovely wife) sweets. We have a kitchenette equipped with our legendary branded SMEG fridge, a robotic âauto sensor binâ and a picnic bench complete with parasol. We also have our giant desks, snazzy meeting rooms and, like any good office, a âfoosballâ table â a new addition which makes lunch breaks a lot more fun. And that’s not all, weâre currently brainstorming ideas to decorate the space even more!
So Google, eat your heart out, Turn Keyâs new home is the ultimate creative hub and a very exciting step forward for the company. We hope youâll drop by and see us soon for a cuppa and a game of table football, but for now, have a nosy at the snaps below!
